About
I am an MD-PhD student at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) Heersink School of Medicine. My research focuses on computational biology and clinical informatics.
Prior to starting my MD-PhD, I conducted outcomes research and bioinformatics research focusing on rheumatic disease and orthopedic surgery outcomes. My current work involves developing machine learning approaches for clinical decision support and leveraging large-scale health data to improve patient outcomes.

Beyond Research
I have been competing in official World Cube Association (WCA) Rubik's Cube competitions since 2017, including appearances at two World Championships, one North American Championship, and one US National Championship — placing 14th at the 2023 World Championship in the 2x2 event. Peak rankings: 2x2 – 76th in world, 24th in USA. Currently ranked 234th in world and 59th in USA for 2x2 (last updated February 2026).
